Young Eagles Events At Chapter 237


Young Eagles 2018 Schedule and Registration Links

Here are the scheduled dates for our Young Eagles events in 2018.  Find us on Google Maps here. When the registration is opened for each event date you will be able to click on the link to go to the corresponding signup page.

   Saturday, Feb 24th, 12:00pm to 4:00pm  (Canceled Due To Weather) 

   Sunday, Apr 29th, 11:00am - 3:00pm   (Canceled Due To Wind Forecast) 

   Sunday, May 6th, 10:00am - 2:00pm    (Makeup date) 

   Sunday, Jun 17th, 8:15am - 12:00pm   (at Cambridge Airport)

   Saturday, Jun 23rd, 11:30am - 2:30pm

   Saturday, Jun 30th, 9:00am - 12:45pm  (at Rush City Airport)

   Saturday, July 7th, 8:15am - 2:15pm   (at Forest Lake Airport)

   Sunday, Aug 26th, 10:30am - 1:30pm 

   Saturday, Oct 27th, 12:00pm - 4:00pm 

Please sign up above to get a priority seat on one of our Young Eagle flights. These events are held at our Chapter 237 building at Anoka County / Blaine Airport (see GoogleMaps link above). Times on the signup are approximate. Kids 8 -17 are eligible for these free flights with an on-site parent or guardian to sign the permission slip.

Flights are limited to seats available and rides are not guaranteed. Weight and mobility limitations apply- compliance with pilot and ground crew instructions is required for EVERYONE'S safety. Not everyone will get to sit up front. No food or drink in the aircraft. Pilots REALLY appreciate clean hands and faces in our aircraft. No guarantees are provided that aircraft are free from allergens (peanut and otherwise).

If the weather is bad or the winds are high, we cannot fly -- safety first! Check our social media (links below) for the go / no-go status on the morning of the event.

A little more detail: Each trip will take approximately 45 minutes- Actual time in the air will vary. Some planes carry only one Young Eagle at a time, others carry up to three. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your requested time so we can do the paperwork. Bring your cell and/or camera -- LOTS of smiles to capture :)
